Honors College Short Response

The Honors College is mission driven. Throughout their time in the Honors College, students are evaluated based upon their development in the four honors mission pillars areas – resilience, ingenuity, stewardship, and equity.

Resilience refers to the ability to persevere in the face of challenges and adversity.
Ingenuity refers to the capacity to think creatively to solve problems and generate new
knowledge.
Stewardship refers to the act of managing and developing a resource for which one has
responsibility, including one‘s own talents and intelligence.
Equity refers to the practice of providing personalized resources and opportunities to every
individual so that all may enjoy success.
